Digital Masterplanning

View for

The Digital Masterplanning methodology currently consists of a series of 16 established compatible design and analysis applications, as shown on the images below. The methodology can be applied to strategic planning, investment appraisals, cost consultancy, urban design, transport planning, landscaping, masterplanning, design & access statements etc.

The applications are implemented at specific stages within the planning / urban design process, from urban scale to neighbourhood to block scale. They are tested for validation on internal Aedas architectural design and masterplanning projects. The Computational Design and Research group has created prototypes for further aspects of Digital Masterplanning that could be developed into applications or methodologies in collaboration or consultation with third parties.
