Smart Solutions for Spatial Planning (SSSP)

SSSP is a suite of digital masterplanning applications that align with scales and stages of the planning workflow. The suite has been developed in collaboration with planning officers from the public planning sector – London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Newham – as well as private sector urban design professionals. This synergy provides an open platform that integrates into most masterplanning workflows and has been successfully applied to various Aedas projects.

SSSP as a ‘digital chain’ covers: GIS mapping, accessibility and routes analysis, urban structure generation with movement & circulation outlines, land-use & mix generation, massing & density visualization. All stages can be informed by each other as their input and output requirements are compatible. The SSSP workflow therefore, can be customized according to the planning policies and requirements.
