Christian Derix, Director of Computational Design Research at Aedas R&D becomes Visiting Professor at the Technical University Munich (TUM) at the Chair for Emergent Technologies; School of Architecture for 2011 – 2012.
The chair will investigate the definition of architectural syntaxes for algorithmic design and user-experience. Students have to map spatial phenomena, create algorithmic definitions and simulate spatial configurations.
Senior computational designers Lucy Helme and Åsmund Gamlesæter will also be leading workshops for Behavioural Mapping and Computing Spatial Configurations.
