In December, the government published its much-anticipated Localism Bill. Judit Kimpian, Head of Sustainability and Advance Modelling and Dan Rigamonti, Sustainable Design specialist of international design practice and UK-GBC member, Aedas, describe what this legislation will mean for the sustainable built environment, and whether it will translate to tangible social, economic and environmental benefits.
